Fruitcamp - a Day on the Fruit Farm
Fruitcamp is an all-day event organised by School of Food at a wonderful family-run fruit farm just outside London in Kent that will happen on Saturday 9th July. Concentrating mostly on cherries, the day is all about getting in touch with the fantastic fresh produce that is available on London's doorstep and about learning about how to use it in the kitchen.

The plan for the day
- Tour of the farm and orchards - learn how the fruit is grown and taste fruit fresh from the branch
- Split into smaller groups for 3 fruit cookery masterclasses
- Jam making
- Fruit juices and alcohol infusions
- Baking with fruit
What is included
- participation in the tour and the 3 fruit masterclasses
- rustic 3-course lunch (with plenty of very fresh, very local fruit!)

About Manor House Farm
Manor House Farm is a small family-run mixed arable and fruit farm located in North Kent just off the A2 and only 20 minutes from central London by train. The main fruit crop is cherries alongside apples, pears and traditional varieties including quince and medlar.
