School of Food's Corporate Cookery Classes are ideal for team building or client entertainment and staff away days - our events are tremendous fun yet valuable to both your staff individually and to your business.

Classes At Your Location

School of Food is London's travelling cookery school - our tutors come and run cookery events at your company's location, bringing all the ingredients and equipment needed. We regularly run cooking events in offices, staff cafeterias, training suites, at conference venues and even around board room tables. The only requirements are water for hand-washing and tables at which to sit; we bring everything else and ensure that the venue is left in a pristine state afterwards.

We have comprehensive insurance cover for cookery events at 3rd party venues, detailed safety policies and lots of experience of liaising with site Health and Safety reps. If you have any concerns or questions about cookery classes at your site - or at a venue where you are holding an away day - feel free to contact us. And if you are certain your site is not suitable but would still like to arrange an event with us do contact us as we can often recommend external venues too.

Themes for Corporate Cookery Classes

We have formulated a range of cooking themes that work especially well as group activities and are suitable for most venues. Vegetarian options are available for all topics and we can accommodate most dietary requirements.

  • sushi making - prepare a Japanese feast to eat together
  • pasta making - make fresh ravioli and tortellini to cook and eat or take home
  • chocolate making - learn to make fresh truffles and filled chocolates
  • sausage making - get creative with making bangers from scratch, to cook or take home
  • burger creation - learn to make the perfect burger from mincing the meat to grilling

Event Cost and Booking

Every event is different we need to discuss your needs before we can give an exact price - but the cost is frequently lower than people expect. Please contact us, letting us know when and where you would like to hold the event, how many people would take part and whether you have a specific theme in mind. We will get back to you with an idea of cost.

If you decide to book we will provide a formal written proposal. We take a deposit at the time of booking (by debit or credit card or BACS) and the balance 30 days before the event.

Understanding what we wanted to achieve, School of Food constructed an evening event that allowed us space for both team-building and fun through pasta making.
